US To Burn Food Rations For Hurricane Survivors.

The Mirror of Britain is reporting that the US government plans to burn 400,000 rations of food shipped from Britain to feed the hungry survivors of Hurricane Katrina. The Mirror reported that the Food and Drug Agency has determined that the NATO ration packs are unfit for human consumption, despite that British troops are eating them in Iraq. Additionally, thousands of gallons of pear juice donated by Israeli relief agencies has already been destroyed, and food from Spain and Italy has also been judged unfit for human consumption.
