Mississippi Sues Insurance Companies.

Jim Hood, the Mississippi Attorney General is suing five private insurance companies, saying adjusters are attempting to trick Hurricane Katrina survivors out of millions of dollars in homeowner claims. The insurance companies are offering $3,000 in living expenses if the homeowners sign a waiver saying that damage to their property was caused by flooding not covered in the homeowner’s insurance policies.
