One Billion Dollars Stolen From Iraq Defense Ministry.

The Independent of London is reporting that as much as $1 billion has been stolen from the Iraq Defense Ministry under the US-backed government of Ayad Allawi. An arrest warrant has been issued for Hazem al-Shaalan, the former Defense Minister, in what is possibly the largest thefts in human history.
