Bush’s Disapproval Ratings.

A poll conducted by the New York Times shows Bush’s approval rating to be 49%. Bush is entering his second term with the lowest approval ratings in the last 50 years. Both President Clinton and Reagan started off their second terms with approval ratings at 60% or higher. A LA Times poll has found that 75% of Americans feel that Bush’s coronation should be scaled back because of the costs of the Iraq War and the tsunami disaster in southeast Asia.
