Americans Shut Out, Money Bags Let In.

During the coronation of George W. Bush, Republicans received the best seats in the house for their “donations.” Those “generous people” who contributed to Bush’s frat party include: CheveronTexaco, Exxon Mobil Corporation, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Northrop Grumman, Occidental Petroleum Corporation, and The Boeing Company. And Bush didn’t go to war to take Iraq’s oil?

Despite freezing weather 10,000 peace activists protested the coronation along Pennsylvania Ave., and thousands more were held back by the Secret Service. C-Span ran coverage of the protests for over 4 hours. The A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition has announced another protest to take place on March 19th, 2005, marking the second year since the Iraq War began.
