Iraq Prepares For “Elections”.

At the end of the month Iraq will be holding elections, however it is unclear how viable those elections will be. Most candidates have not publicly announced their candidacy and are not campaigning because of security concerns. The locations of polling places are being kept secret to prevent them from being attacked, however it is unclear how the people will know where to vote. The election commission in Iraq is considering banning all vehicles from being on the road on election day, and Iraqi officials have decided to close all of Iraq’s borders three days before the election.
