Seymour Hersh is reporting in the New Yorker magazine that the Pentagon is secretly sending in troops to Iran to scout possible military targets. According to Hersh the Bush administration has authorized the Pentagon to send secret commando forces into eastern Iran from Afghanistan to possibly carry out combat operations or terrorist attacks.
