ACLU Backs Justice Department Whistle Blower.

The American Civil Liberties Union has backed FBI whistle blower Sibel Edmonds. Sibel Edmonds was hired by the FBI after 9-11 to translate intelligence tapes that led up to the terrorist attack. Edmonds charges that the FBI knew that Al Qaeda was planning to attack the U.S. with airplanes. Edmonds was fired from the FBI, after she went public with her charges. The ACLU has urged the DC Court of Appeals to reinstate Edmond’s case, based on that the government is abusing the “state secrets privilege” to silence whistle blowers.
