US Solder Convicted For Abu Ghraib Torture.

Charles Graner, an Army reservist was sentenced to ten years in a military prison for torturing detainees at Abu Ghraib. Graner claims that he was ordered to abuse the detainees. To date, none of Graner’s superior officers have been charged for any crime. Military contractors CACI International and Titan, both of whom have been linked to the Abu Ghraib torture scandal, have been awarded new military contracts of $16 million and $164 million.
