Bush’s Plan For A Never-Ending Occupation.

We’ve all seen the banners, and we’ve heard the tired old message. We must “stay the course” because we just need a little bit more time to train the Iraqis to defend themselves.

But what does Bush’s “Plan for Victory” really mean? And why, after three years, and 2,000 dead American soldiers later are we now just learning that the Bush administration have any “plan” for “victory”?

Bush has only one “plan for victory”. And that is to occupy Iraq forever, or at least until we can pump out all the oil out of the ground. Bush’s plan means nothing more than more death, more debt, and more destruction.

But do the Iraqis really need further training to defend themselves? Or are they simply unwilling to fight for George W. Bush? If training is all that’s needed for the Iraqis to defeat the “insurgency”, then one should wonder, who the hell trained the insurgents?

=====>Don't you get tired of spitting out the same silly rant? You must be one of those people that subscribes to the theory that if you repeat something enough times eventually people will start to believe it. To begin with no one seriously is buying this "we went to war for oil" thing you libs have been pushing. Honestly does that even make any sense? If we wanted their oil we could have just bought on the open market. Iraqi oil was the cheapest of all of the oil in the market. As far as Bush going there to steal it for himself where in the hell is he putting it? Is it being shipped by the barrel to his ranch at Crawford or something? You seem to ignore history a lot. When we toppled Hitler in germany we had much of the same problems but I think that most people would agree that Europe seems to have emerged well out of WWII. Fortunately our guys and gals over there aren't so quick to quit like the libs who are so-called "supporting the soldiers but not the war". You cry over the 2000 dead soldiers but forget that if we just up and leave now their deaths will truly have been for nothing. More people died in one day in September than in the 3 years this war has been waged but you seem to have fulfilled the hopes and dreams of our enemy and that is that you would be quick to cut and run. Iraqis need to have our support so that when we do leave, and trust me there will always be some troops left in the area for the forseeable future, they can truly handle their country.
We won the war in Europe and we STILL have troops there! We beat the Japanese and still have troops there too! Hell we still have some troops in Bosnia as well. So what's your point? As far as who trained the insurgents that is easy. Those insurgents are trained and supplied by countries like Iran and Syria who have a vested interest with the liberal media here and the left in this country in seeing that Iraq fails as a Democracy. How stupid and feeble your statement is to say that we are "finally" seeing a plan. There has always been a plan. It's the same plan your Democrat buddies were supporting way back when they voted to support Bush and now act like they never supported him in the first place. But leave it up to a liberal to just quiot when they have to show some backbone. Trust me the terrorists are planning on the spineless of us to start asking our troops to quit.
