It’s Beginning To Feel A Lot Like Fitzmas!
As the investigation into Treasongate is drawing near, many conservatives are beginning to worry, and quake in their Guccis.
Insiders close to the investigation have said that Wednesday (today!) special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald will make his findings known. Much fuss has been made recently about Karl Rove and “Scooter” Libby in the press recently, but those close to the investigation have said that they are actually secondary players.
Meanwhile, Conservative strategists and leaders are feeling quite worried. The Boston Globe reported on Monday that Christian Conservative strategist Paul Weyrich says membership rolls and right wing donations have declined. Weyrich said that the conservative movement was “on an upward path, even after the 2004 elections, but the growth has stopped.”
David Keene, the chairman of the American Conservative Union said that activists are “fed up” with President Bush, the Miers nomination being the straw that broke the camel’s back. The disenchantment of the right is so significant that analysts are saying that the number of competitive House seats in the 2006 election could double from 40 to 80.

Miami,
This guy, Doug Edelman is a demented sick little phuck. Liberals are falling all over themselves to "celebrate" the 2,000 soldier killed? What a sick sad son of a bitch. Is that why MOVE ON organized THOUSANDS of candle light vigils, so that Americans can silently pray for the fallen and their families? Where are the CHICKEN HAWKS? Are they too busy saying that we hate the troops to attend any of their funerals?
Miami,
is that why the VAST MAJORITY of Americans want our troops out of Iraq, even if control of Iraq falls into the hands of the insurgents?
