Bush’s Approval Ratings Continue To Plummet.

New polls from a verity of sources show that Bush’s job approval ratings are again at a new all time low. A poll from the Pew Research Center shows Bush’s approval rating to be just 29%.

Additionally, the Pew poll found that only 26% believe that Bush will have a successful presidency when all is said and done. The poll also found that 69% of Americans would prefer to see a president with different policies than the Bush administration, while only 25% said they wanted something similar.

But Pew wasn’t the only poll showing low numbers. Even the far right wing “news” channel, the Fox News Channel conducted a poll that found that a majority of Americans disapprove of the manner in which Bush is handling the presidency. A record low for a Fox poll found that only 40% approve of Bush’s job performance.

Despite Bush’s continued attempt to boost his numbers by repeatedly visited the Gulf Coast, his numbers have continued to slag. The Washington Post reported on the question that was in many peoples’ minds, just under the surface.

After the White House’s botched handling of the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, how do African Americans view the Bush presidency? A NBC/Wall Street Journal poll found that just a measly 2% of African Americans approve of Bush.
