The Christian Coalition On Brink Of Bankruptcy.

The organization, founded in 1989 in wake of Robertson’s failed bid for the presidency, collected an annual revenue of $26 million in 1996, but has shrank to just $1.3 million in 2004, and has left unpaid bills across the nation.
Creditors have begun to sue to coalition for nonpayment of bills, including property owners, direct-mail companies, lawyers, and even a former employee. Hundreds of thousands of dollars are owed by the coalition to creditors, and at least a dozen claims have been brought against the organization since 2001, including a small claims case in Henrico County trying to collect $1,890 on an unpaid bill.
