FEMA Director Fabricated His Resume.

A report in Time Magazine had raised questions about the qualifications of FEMA Director Michael Brown. Brown claimed that he worked in Edmond, Oklahoma as an assistant city manager with “emergency services oversight.” But Time has revealed that Brown was actually an administrative assistant to the city manager. An Edmond city official said Brown was essentially an intern. Brown also claimed to have been the Director of a Christian nursing facility in Oklahoma, but an administrator at the facility said that Brown was “not a person that anyone here is familiar with.” Additionally, Brown claimed on his resume that he won a prize for being an “Outstanding Political Science Professor” at Central State University. A University official said that Brown “wasn’t a professor here, he was only a student.” Most of Brown’s prior work experience came as the head of the International Arabian Horse Association, where he had spent a year investigating if a prize mare had had liposuction surgery done on it’s buttocks. Brown became the head of FEMA two years ago, replacing his former college roommate, Joe Allbaugh.
