The Latest Terrorist Threat: Infants. Yes, Infants.

The Associated Press is reporting that infants are now being including on the country’s no-fly list. According to AP, airline security are now stopping families with infants who have names that are similar to those on the no-fly list. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

But functional. Get it out of your head that the purpose of this security is primarily keeping the airways safe; it is mainly being used to accustom us to police state methods and authority. If it were otherwise, your criticism would be obvious. As things stand, the idea is to inculcate and perpetuate a witch-hunt mentality. People who believe in witchcraft think it is hereditary, so the idea of criminal babies does not seem crazy to them! The rest of us will either adapt to at least appearing to go along, or get singled out as dangerous outsiders by our dissent.

Oh boy, I get to do this again....here goes....

But functional. Get it out of your head that the purpose of this security is primarily keeping the airways safe; it is mainly being used to accustom us to police state methods and authority.

====>I wonder how many "police states" you have actually visited. Please, in detail and with out rumor or conjecture, explain to me how we are living in anything close to a police state? And IF we are I would ask you to please hide somewhere as folks like you might be the first to be rounded up. I mean you are either incredibly brave for "speaking out" in this so-called "police state" we are in or wildly reckless. You see, in a real "police state" the fact that you even voiced or written an opinion would land you in jail. How do I know because I am of Cuban descent. It is primarily for this reason that my family left Cuba from the years of 1959 to 1964. I would like you to please live in Cuba and voice your opposition to the government (assuming that you disagree with Fidel's vision of social justice and equality) and tell me how it goes.

=====>You can't be serious. You already have the right to dissent. No one's taken it away. How brave of you to dissent in a country where you already have that right! Paid for by the blood of the soldier.

The Soldier

It is the soldier, not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the soldier, not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer,
who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.

It is the soldier, not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the soldier,
who salutes the flag,
who serves under the flag,
and whose coffin is draped by the flag,
who allows the protester to burn the flag.

The latest terror threat is how Clinton knew about Bin Laden as far as 1996 and did nothing.

Somehow though no matter how they show the inept Clinton administration's handling of the guy who would kill 3000 American civilians you will still keep your blinders on.

Alva, again, you can thank me later for keeping you from being anything but "fair and balanced"

While I'm not a diehard Clinton fan (he was too far right for my political taste), when you compare his administration's failures to the current one's failures, there is simply no contest.

Bush and his team have made such monumental mistakes, as well as policy decisions that are a nightmare for the country, I wonder if we ever will fully recover.

=====>Yeah why doesn't THAT surprise me? Too bad for you Castro or Chavez aren't registered Democrats!

=====>Ummm. Well let's see...
1. The refused to pick up Osama when he was handed to them on a silver platter.
2. They knew about Muhammad Atta as far back as 1999 and did nothing.
3. The guy who told Bush that the WMD's In Iraq were a "slam dunk" was a Clinton appointee.
4. There hasn't been an attack on this country since 9/11/01. (That's a positive for Bush, a bad thing for you)

=======>Yeah it sucks not being attacked in the last 4 years. I mean what you must be going through not having an attack to blame on Bush, it must be horrible!!
