The Latest Terrorist Threat: Infants. Yes, Infants.
The Associated Press is reporting that infants are now being including on the country’s no-fly list. According to AP, airline security are now stopping families with infants who have names that are similar to those on the no-fly list. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

But functional. Get it out of your head that the purpose of this security is primarily keeping the airways safe; it is mainly being used to accustom us to police state methods and authority. If it were otherwise, your criticism would be obvious. As things stand, the idea is to inculcate and perpetuate a witch-hunt mentality. People who believe in witchcraft think it is hereditary, so the idea of criminal babies does not seem crazy to them! The rest of us will either adapt to at least appearing to go along, or get singled out as dangerous outsiders by our dissent.
While I'm not a diehard Clinton fan (he was too far right for my political taste), when you compare his administration's failures to the current one's failures, there is simply no contest.
Bush and his team have made such monumental mistakes, as well as policy decisions that are a nightmare for the country, I wonder if we ever will fully recover.
