You finally put something that is good news. I think that you also should have honored this man's kind soul and benevolence by including how he forgave everyone that put him in jail wrongly as he believes that it was God that helped him through the hard times and God that taught him to forgive those who tresspasses against him.

For what it's worth I am glad that he was exonerated

DNA Evidence Frees Man Jailed in Florida for 26 Years

MIAMI -- A man imprisoned for 26 years as the "Bird Road rapist" was released Wednesday after DNA evidence from two of the rapes excluded him as the attacker, casting doubt on all five of the cases for which he was serving time.

"Victory," Luis Diaz, 67, told reporters as he walked out of a Miami courthouse a free man. He said he plans to spend time with his family, was not bitter about the time he lost and did not blame prosecutors.

"They did their job. You have to respect that," he said later at a news conference.

Circuit Judge Cristina Pereya-Shuminer vacated five rape convictions and a life sentence against Diaz. The ruling came at the request of prosecutors and lawyers for the Innocence Project, a nonprofit group that pushes for DNA exoneration.
