Saddam Reportedly Bitch-Slapped.

The Independent is reporting that Saddam Hussein’s lawyer, Khalil Dulaimi, has declared that his defense team will boycott the war crimes tribunal because the former Iraqi president was assaulted during a previous hearing. The US military, who has kept Saddam under guard since his capture, has denied the attack took place.

Blah blah blah and wah! He got bitch slapped, pretty minor compared to how he raped his countrymen.

But keep defending him, it only makes the case of how leftists are promoting terror.

I don't know if Saddam really was bitch-slapped, as the charges were denied. Keep in mind that I am simply reporting the news.

I would also remind you that it was Reagan and Bush Senior administrations who was the only American politians who ever supported Saddam.

You are still stuck on that half-truth aren't you. You know the world is much bigger than what Michael Moore has spoon-fed you. So if you are only reporting the news why not report, BOTH sides of the story in regards to the issues you report on. I mean, as a Liberal aren't you supposed to be the more intelligent and tolerant one?

I did report the other side. The millitary denied the charge. Did I say "the military denied the charge...I bet they're lying"? By the way, I like Moore's stuff (it's funny) but he hardly "spoon feeds" me anything. Don't worry, I was an anarcho-syndicalist radical lefty long before I ever heard of Moore.

But you don't report the fact that one of our GI's who was hit with a sniper's bullet, after chasing down the guy who actually shot him, treated his wounds and saved his life.
You see you present a story as if you were a journalist and fail to presetn all sides of a story. This story about Saddam being slapped is there to show our inability , or what you would like us to believe is our inability, to conduct a fair trial. Otherwise you probably wouldn't have even bothered.

What? Miami, you're talking about another news story entirely, and that's assuming you're not just pulling this out of your ass.

Are you telling me that you have not heard about this story? Really? A man who is "just reporting the news?" My my my my! And I thought the media showed everything! Boy how could you have missed it with all of that positive press about our soldiers.

Well in all fairness to you and your "objective" analysis of news events I will give you the story. This way no one can accuse you of being anything but fair when you follow my lead and agree that this soldier like the vast majority of our soldiers are doing a good job and are true professionals.

You can thank me later but for now here is the story.

Link to video of terrorists sniper shooting Army medic

Here is the story:

Soldier survives attack; captures, medically treats sniper (Video)

Pfc. Stephen Tschiderer is a native of Mendon, N.Y. —
During a routine patrol in Baghdad June 2, Army Pfc. Stephen Tschiderer, a medic, was shot in the chest by an enemy sniper, hiding in a van just 75 yards away. The incident was filmed by the insurgents.
Tschiderer, with E Troop, 101st “Saber” Cavalry Division, attached to 3rd Battalion, 156th Infantry Regiment, 256th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, was knocked to the ground from the impact, but he popped right back up, took cover and located the enemy’s position.

After tracking down the now-wounded sniper with a team from B Company, 4th Battalion, 1st Iraqi Army Brigade, Tschiderer secured the terrorist with a pair of handcuffs and gave medical aid to the terrorist who’d tried to kill him just minutes before.

And no I didn't pull it out of my ass, I just try to look for other sources of news than just Michael or CNN.

But what am I talking about you're the guy just reporting the news right? Right.

So, mia, when did Michael Moore become a reporter for the Independent?

mia seems to have a bead on something the rest of us don't know.
