Landmines Love You.

According to a new report from Human Rights Watch, the Pentagon is moving to resume production of antipersonnel landmines for the first time in 8 years. In 1997 the international Mine Ban Treaty was signed by 145 nations which banned the use, production, stockpiling, and exportation of antipersonnel landmines. The US did not sign the treaty but stopped production of landmines in 1997. Human Rights Watch has estimated that landmines continue to kill and maim 500 people every week.
