Was There Really Violence And Rapes At The Superdome?

The Guardian is reporting that despite the widespread reports of violence and rapes in the Superdome, New Orleans police has been unable to confirm them.

Eddie Compass, the New Orleans police chief said Tuesday night that “We don’t have any substantiated rapes. We will investigate if the individuals come forward.” So far no witnesses, survivors or survivors’ relatives have come forward. Additionally, no murdered babies, with or without their throats slit, have been found.

What eyewitness accounts of rapes and murders? The police chief said that none of these "rapes and murders" could be substantiated by the evidence, by an originial source, or by anyone else. In other words Miami, there were RUMORS.
