Was There Really Violence And Rapes At The Superdome?

The Guardian is reporting that despite the widespread reports of violence and rapes in the Superdome, New Orleans police has been unable to confirm them.

Eddie Compass, the New Orleans police chief said Tuesday night that “We don’t have any substantiated rapes. We will investigate if the individuals come forward.” So far no witnesses, survivors or survivors’ relatives have come forward. Additionally, no murdered babies, with or without their throats slit, have been found.

So eyewitness accounts are ok when you are talking about the callousness of Condoleeza Ricve in New York shopping but it's not ok when you "report" this news of rapes and murders in the lawless area of New Orleans?
Which sounds more plausible to the common normal thinking person?

What eyewitness accounts of rapes and murders? The police chief said that none of these "rapes and murders" could be substantiated by the evidence, by an originial source, or by anyone else. In other words Miami, there were RUMORS.

Again, you can use rumors to say that Condoleeza Rice was callous to someone while she was shopping for shoes in NYC without any proof other than a supposed report from someone you know but you deny that rapes occured regardless of the many and numerous eyewitness accounts?

Do you live EVERY aspect of your life like this or is this only saved for us on your blog?
