As New Orleans Drowns, Bush Administration Officials Enjoy Their Vacation.
While President Bush didn’t return from vacation for three days after Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, Condoleeza Rice didn’t return from vacation in New York City until Thursday. Meanwhile Vice President Dick Cheney is still in Wyoming while White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card is in Maine.

it pains me to have to do this. the other day I heard a story that while condi was vacationing in NYC, out buying some $2,000 shoes off of 5th Ave. a woman approached her and said "why are out here shopping? why aren't you helping those people who are dying ?"
Condi ordered the Secret Service to escort the woman away.
Unfortunately, these people have the extreme poor taste of just letting our fellow americans suffer. dick Cheney is still on vacation. andy card is still on vacation. What the hell is going on?
