If You Can’t Beat Them, Pay Them.

According to a recently revealed Freedom of Information Act request obtained by USA Today, The Bush Administration paid $240,000 to Afro-American conservative pundit Armstrong Williams to promote Bush’s No Child Left Behind education reform act. Representative George Miller (D-CA), the top Democrat on the House Education Committee, said it was “a very questionable use of taxpayers’ money” and that it is “probably illegal.”
