Bernard Ebbers, the founder of WorldCom, was sentenced to 25 years for his role in the fraud that led to the company’s collapse. The $11 billion fraud resulted in the biggest bankruptcy in US history, resulting in 20,000 workers loosing their jobs and shareholders losing $180 billion.
